This, along with our south coast location and lean, efficient structure, ensures our clients always have the best-suited, specialist creative team working on their account, but without unnecessary overheads – a prime consideration in the current economic climate.

Richard’s career propelled him to account and main board directorships of a major London communications agency. He has handled national accounts and specialised in projects and campaigns that enhanced a client’s reputation, or brought about a fast return for the client’s investment – or both.
His continuing success is enhanced by his ability to relate to people and quickly understand their objectives and constraints. His integrity and sound judgement lie at the heart of the business ethos of R&M Marketing. |

Chrissie Sloan
Account Manager |
Chrissie has an impressive range of experience in design and marketing. Unusually in the agency world, she has worked in both account and creative management roles and so is able to act as a unifying influence, and to see projects in the round on behalf of our clients.
She has handled a wide variety of accounts in the business-to-business and consumer sectors, including in-house training, incentive marketing and publishing. She has lectured in graphic design at a leading art college. |

Tony Tisdall

With many year’s experience of market research within a wide variety of business-to-business sectors, Tony has operated both on client and agency fronts.
He is an expert information sourcing facility, with the ability to give sound advice on the most cost-effective methods of carrying out Market Research projects. Core strengths include his questionnaire writing and development, along with his summary written reports at the end of a project. He is an invaluable member of the team for projects which are research-led. |

Simon Smith
Creative Director |
As head of the design team, Simon has overall control of creative work and is involved with all design issues. With an acute visual and marketing awareness, his approach to creative work is inventive, stylish and effective. This is a key attribute of R&M Marketing and is particularly in evidence on the IPAF account.
His impressive range of experience encompasses branding, corporate communications, art direction and direct marketing for a variety of household names. He has also designed successful websites for companies in many sectors. |

Barry Collyer

Barry has extensive experience in the design and production of brochures and technical manuals for a wide range of industries. He has produced magazines covering the UK’s specialist car industry, plus media advertising, brochure design and artwork for car manufacturers and component suppliers.
He has also designed and illustrated brochures, plus technical and build manuals for a wide range of companies in the engineering and automotive sectors. He has the ability to prepare realistic full colour visuals of pre-production and concept items for promotional purposes. |

John Orr
Copywriter & Scriptwriter |
John has considerable experience of writing for such blue chip accounts as BT, Dell, Barclays Bank and Volvo. He is adept at writing copy that is relaxed, yet informative. He uses writing techniques that have been proven to increase readership. He understands that people buy because of benefits.
He is also able to move effortlessly from prose to script – especially useful for writing TV and radio advertisements, as well as conference links for such personalities as John Humphrys, Sue Barker and Nick Ross. |

Chris Stanton

Chris has in-depth business-to-business experience, writing press releases, feature articles and brochure copy for multi-nationals and small companies alike. He specialises in engineering and technology from die-casting to telecommunications, from process control to marine navigation and from construction and construction plant to industrial brakes and clutches.
He has the ability to identify quickly the key market strengths and potential of technological developments, and understands a broad spectrum of different market sectors and technologies. His writing style creates real interest and stimulates response. |

Throughout his career, James has written for a wide range of multi-national clients as well as for smaller companies, liaising at the highest level. These include American Express, Marks & Spencer, New Statesman and Sightsavers.
He has an impressively broad creative experience, ranging from financial services to fmcg, and from charities to brand positioning – in both consumer and business-to-business. His expertise includes the rare ability to craft compelling and effective copy in a variety of styles, for both print and digital media. |
